TikTok Creator Marketplace shut down as a standalone product on 1 April 2025 and was folded into TikTok One. Its URLs now redirect to TikTok One, where creator discovery, briefing, and campaign reporting continue under a different name.
Nothing was cancelled. The functions moved. If you used TTCM to find and book creators, the equivalent workflow lives in TikTok One, alongside the former TikTok Creative Challenge, which was folded in at the same time.
| Date | What happened |
|---|---|
| 22 May 2024 | TikTok announces TikTok One as a single hub for marketers |
| Through 2025 | TikTok One rolls out; TikTok begins sunsetting the legacy Creator Marketplace |
| 1 April 2025 | TikTok Creator Marketplace shuts down completely; its site redirects to TikTok One |
| 2026 | Consolidation complete. Creator Marketplace no longer exists as a separate product |
TikTok’s own framing at the time was that it was “beginning the process of sunsetting the legacy TikTok Creator Marketplace platform” as part of the transition to TikTok One.
Practically, less than the name change suggests.
If your team had a TTCM workflow documented, budget an afternoon to rewrite it rather than assuming the migration is invisible. What a TikTok One agency does covers what to expect if you hand the creator side over instead.
Discovery by brands continues; it happens inside TikTok One now. Eligibility has historically been threshold-based rather than open to everyone, and reported thresholds have included a minimum follower count, recent posting activity, and recent view volume, with variation by region.
Treat any specific number you read online, including ours, as indicative rather than authoritative. TikTok adjusts these, and the only current answer is the one TikTok shows in your own account. More on the creator side here.
Two reasons, and both are worth knowing if you are searching for answers.
First, an enormous amount of published content still refers to Creator Marketplace in the present tense, because it was the standard term for years and articles were not retired when the product was. Guides, agency pages, and course material written before 2025 read as current and are not.
Second, the names are genuinely confusable. TikTok One, TikTok Shop, TikTok Creator Marketplace, TikTok Creative Challenge, and TikTok Marketing Partners are five different things, and several of them still appear on agency websites as though they were interchangeable. TikTok One and TikTok Shop in particular are not the same product.
The reliable move is to check the date on anything you read about TikTok’s platforms. Including this page, which we last reviewed in September 2026. Short answers to the rest of the recurring questions sit in the TikTok One FAQ.
No. It shut down as a standalone product on 1 April 2025 and its functions moved into TikTok One.
TikTok One. It absorbed both the Creator Marketplace and TikTok Creative Challenge into a single platform.
The product was consolidated rather than shut down without replacement, so creator and brand activity continued in TikTok One. If you cannot access historical campaign data, that is a question for TikTok support rather than something an agency can resolve.
Not exactly. TikTok One is broader: it covers creator discovery, which TTCM did, plus production partners, creative tooling, and a dedicated partner side for agencies.
No. The platform changed, not the work. If your agency is delivering, the migration is not a reason to switch. If they did not tell you the migration happened, that is a different question.
