TikTok One is TikTok’s single platform for brands, creators, and agencies to plan and run creative and creator campaigns. It gives advertisers one place to find creators and production partners, brief work, launch campaigns, and track results.
TikTok announced TikTok One on 22 May 2024 and rolled it out through 2025. It absorbed two older products: the TikTok Creator Marketplace, which shut down on 1 April 2025, and the TikTok Creative Challenge. If you are looking for Creator Marketplace, TikTok One is where it went.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is it | TikTok’s platform for creative and creator campaigns, used by advertisers, creators, and approved agency partners |
| Announced | 22 May 2024 |
| Rolled out | Through 2025 |
| What it replaced | TikTok Creator Marketplace (closed 1 April 2025) and TikTok Creative Challenge |
| Who it is for | Brands and advertisers, creators, and creative or creator agencies |
| Cost to access | No published platform fee. You pay creators, production, and media. More on cost |
| Do you need an agency | No. Brands can use it directly. An agency is for when you lack the time or the creator bench |
Before TikTok One, brands ran creator work through the TikTok Creator Marketplace (often shortened to TTCM or TCM), a standalone directory for finding and booking creators. Separately, TikTok Creative Challenge let creators submit videos against open briefs.
TikTok folded both into TikTok One. Creator Marketplace stopped operating as its own product on 1 April 2025, and its URLs now point at TikTok One. That is the single most common reason people land on this page: they went looking for a tool that no longer exists under the old name.
If that is you, the practical answer is short: your creator sourcing, briefing, and reporting all moved into TikTok One, and the workflow is broadly similar. The full migration detail is here.
TikTok One has three distinct sides, and most confusion about the platform comes from people reading documentation written for one side while sitting on another.
| Side | Who | What they do in it |
|---|---|---|
| Advertiser | Brands and in-house marketing teams | Find creators and production partners, brief projects, approve content, launch and measure campaigns |
| Creator | Individual TikTok creators who meet eligibility thresholds | Get discovered by brands, receive briefs, deliver paid content |
| Partner | Creative and creator agencies approved by TikTok | Run projects on behalf of brands, manage rosters of creators, deliver content at volume |
TikTok describes the partner side as the entry point for “any intermediary between creators and brands.” That is the side Aventra Media operates on, alongside working directly with brands.
Reduced to the parts that matter operationally:
The genuine advantage is not any single feature. It is that briefing, delivery, rights, and reporting live in one place. On a campaign with three creators that hardly matters. On a campaign with forty, it is the difference between a system and a spreadsheet.
Plenty of brands run TikTok One themselves and should. An agency earns its fee in three situations, and it is worth being honest that if none of these apply to you, you do not need one:
What a TikTok One agency actually does goes through the deliverables and how to vet one, including how to check that an agency’s claimed partner status is real.
Aventra Media is an independent agency and an approved TikTok One Partner. We also hold TikTok Shop Partner (TSP) status for the US market. Those are two separate TikTok programs with separate criteria, and we say so plainly because a lot of agencies blur them. The two products, and their two partner programs, are set out side by side here.
Partner status means TikTok reviewed our capability to deliver creative and creator work and approved us to operate inside their platform. It does not mean we are owned by TikTok, employed by TikTok, or given preferential ad placement, and any agency telling you otherwise is overselling it.
We work with brands selling physical product in the US, mostly on creator campaigns, UGC production at volume, and TikTok Shop. If that is you, one email gets a straight answer on whether we are a fit.
There is no published fee to access the platform itself. Your costs are what you pay creators, what production costs, and what you spend on media. Anyone quoting you a fixed “TikTok One price” is quoting their own fee, not TikTok’s.
No. TikTok One is for creative and creator campaigns. TikTok Shop is the e-commerce marketplace where products are sold in-app. They are separate products that are frequently confused, and a brand can use either, both, or neither.
It was sunset and folded into TikTok One, shutting down as a standalone product on 1 April 2025. Creator sourcing and campaign management moved into TikTok One.
No. Partner status is for agencies and intermediaries. Brands and creators use TikTok One without being partners.
They can say it. Whether it is true is a separate question. Ask which program specifically, ask when it was granted, and ask them to show it inside the platform. Partner status in one TikTok program does not confer status in another.
We are an approved TikTok One Partner working with US brands on creator campaigns and UGC at volume.
