TikTok One / Cost

What it
actually costs.

How much does TikTok One cost?

TikTok publishes no platform fee for TikTok One. The real cost of a campaign is the sum of five lines: creator fees, product samples, production, agency fee (if you use one), and media spend. Anyone quoting a single “TikTok One price” is quoting their own packaging of those lines, not a TikTok rate.

We are deliberately not publishing fake benchmark numbers here. Creator rates vary by an order of magnitude with audience, category, and usage rights, and any table of “average TikTok creator rates” you find online is either outdated or invented. What we can give you is the structure, and the questions that expose a padded quote.

The five lines

LineWhat drives itWhat to push back on
Creator feesAudience size, category, deliverable count, and above all usage rightsBundling. Ask for the per-creator figure, and what rights it includes
SamplesYour unit cost times creator count. Small per unit, real at volumeNothing. Just budget it. 15 creators is 15+ shipped units before a single video exists
ProductionWhether content needs editing, captioning, versioning beyond what the creator deliversPaying agency day-rates for work the creator was already paid to deliver
Agency feeRetainer, per-video, or % of spendFees that do not change when volume drops. Ask what happens in a slow month
Media spendYour amplification budget, paid to TikTokAny structure where media is invisible inside a bundled number. It must be its own line, in your own ad account

Why usage rights move the price most

The same video costs meaningfully different amounts depending on what you are allowed to do with it. Organic-only, 30-day paid usage, 12-month paid usage, and perpetual usage across markets are different products, and creators price them accordingly, as they should.

The expensive mistake runs in both directions. Buy too narrow and your winning video dies with a rights expiry mid-flight; buy perpetual rights on everything and you have paid a premium on the 80% of content that never earns amplification. The competent structure is narrow by default with a pre-agreed price to extend the winners.

Where budgets actually go wrong

What we will and will not tell you

We price engagements after seeing the product, the market, and the volume required, because that is what the price depends on. What we commit to publicly: creator fees are passed through as their own line, media runs in your ad account, and our fee is stated as our fee. Partner status does not change any of those lines either: being an approved TikTok One Partner is approval to operate inside the platform, not a rate.

What those lines buy is the work in how a campaign runs, and the fee line specifically covers the duties in what a TikTok One agency does. The same line-by-line split applies to UGC production booked outside the platform.

If you want a number before a conversation, we understand the instinct, but treat any agency that gives you one sight-unseen as pricing a package, not your situation. One email gets you a scoped answer within 24 hours.

Questions people ask

Does TikTok charge for TikTok One?

TikTok publishes no access fee for the platform. Campaign costs are what you pay creators, production, your agency if you use one, and your media spend.

How much do TikTok creators charge?

Rates vary by an order of magnitude with audience size, category, deliverables, and usage rights. Treat any published “average rate card” as unreliable; get quotes for your actual product and rights requirements.

For the shop side rather than the campaign side, the four cost lines and three fee shapes are in how a TikTok Shop agency bill breaks down.

What usage rights should I buy?

Narrow by default, with a pre-agreed price to extend the winners. Organic-plus-short-paid-window covers testing; extend to longer paid usage only on content that earns amplification.

What is a fair agency fee structure?

Retainer, per-video, and percentage-of-spend all work when they are transparent. The non-negotiable is separation: creator fees, agency fee, and media spend as distinct lines you can see.

What budget do I need to start?

Enough to test with several creators and amplify what wins, in your category, at your unit economics. A test that cannot fund media spend behind the winners is half a test, whatever its size.
